This does not apply if you (The Buyer) damaged it or otherwise took actions that lowered its value. This 7-day DOA guarantee is valid for 7 days from the date of receipt and is NOT valid for software-related issues (although we do extensively test the O.S. and all sub-system drivers and everything worked when we shut it down for the final time today)     The system is very well packaged in a sturdy, tough Dell box just as it was received by us from Dell. If there is a problem during shipping it will be obvious before you open the box so just DON'T OPEN IT!  IN THIS CASE, NOTIFY the SHIPPER immediately. Once you sign for an item - you have given your approval of it's condition!   Although it is incredibly unlikely, if the system is damaged in transit, it will be required that you, as the buyer, file a claim with FedEx Ground to recoup all funds by way of insurance. We will assist you to the best of our abilities in this process, and will do everything we can to help expedite the insurance claim in this (Extremely) unlikely event. This system will be fully insured to its full MSRP value as new when we ship to you (The Buyer).    Please do not send back this system to us if it is severely damaged or DOA under any circumstances without first contacting us. If you (the buyer) decide a DOA return is warranted you must pay UPS or FedEx Ground return shipping and insurance (for full value of the item) so it can be safely returned to us in the EXACTLY THE SAME CONDITION that you received it. All specified equipment must be intact & it must be packaged exactly as delivered to you with all packing materials included.   We would, however, like to know immediately of your satisfaction with this system or if something goes wrong upon receiving the unit, regardless of weather or not it is hardware or software related.
