The 2000 Sheet Input Feeder is an essential addition to your high-speed HP LaserJet printer. It will optimize performance and overall efficiency, ideal for users who print large volumes and for those who need an additional input source or require high-volume unattended overnight printing. The additional capacity minimizes printer interaction. The feeder also adds the convenience of a printer stand, with wheels for mobility and threaded leveling feet for added stability. This 2000-sheet tray is fully adjustable for all commonly used Domestic and International paper sizes: LETTER, LEGAL, A4, B4, 11x17, and A3. Although this is the new and improved version of this accessory (for the LJ 8000/8100/8150 series and Mopiers 240 and 320), it can also be used with the older LaserJet 5Si family of printers.* It is compatible with the Color LaserJet 8500/8550 series too. *Note: When this feeder is used with a 5Si, an additional paper handling control board must be installed in the printer formatter bay (you can purchase it from us, p/n C3768A). This board comes with the ribbon cable necessary to attach it to the 5Si formatter. Another cable (p/n C4781-60504) is also needed, to connect the board to the feeder itself. The later printer models (LJ 8000/8100/8150 series and Mopiers 240 and 320) have the paper control circuitry already built into the standard formatter boards so this extra PC board is not needed.
