Such reliability is afforded by the unique design of this pump, which contains only one moving part: the magnetically driven spherical impeller spins on a single ceramic bearing, thus extending the life of this pump beyond existing standards. Summary of benefits: 50,000 hours MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) equivalent to 5 years lifetime. Superior 12 Volts DC convenience: plugs into the computer power supply. The MCP655 can be used with full confidence in any MP servers, and high-end workstations. Superior real world performance. High pressure capability of the MCP655 is particularly well adapted to high-flow systems using 1/2" ID tubing. Pump speed can be adjusted to yield top performance or virtually silent operations (model MCP655 only). Compact Design. Quiet operations even at high speed thanks to new chipset controller. 1/2" Barb fittings. No maintenance when used with de-mineralized water, and anti-fungal additives (Our HydrX additive is recommended).     Swiftech Apogee GT CPU Waterblock Following in the footsteps of the award winning Apogee CPU water-block, the Apogee GT model takes the cooling performance to yet another level. The GT's primary difference with the Apogee is an optimized internal structure. The improvement in thermal performance scales from a minimum of 1C and up to 3C (at 100W) depending on the CPU's, with Intel's latest QX9770 quad core processors benefiting the most from the revised structure. Specifications: Internal structure: the CNC machined C110 copper base plate is at the heart of Apogee GT cooling efficiency. Designed using Computational Fluid Dynamics, the Patent Pending Diamond Pin Matrix was further optimized in the "GT" version resulting in increased surface area and coolant velocity. The thickness remains at 3mm to promote a high compliance factor with its mating surface (i.e. the CPU heat spreader) thanks to the base plate flexing ability. This particular feature allows additional "tweaks" to the Apogee generation of water-blocks and may yield substantial performance gains. The housing is injection molded out of Black Acetal. This process is key to allow mass production of the water-block, and thus economies of scale. The universal hold-down plate features mounting holes for all current Desktop and midrange server processors (Xeon, Opteron). Nylon Fittings: 1/4" NPSM to 3/8" and/or 1/2" barbs Fitting O-ring: (2) EPDM O-ring AS568A Dash Number 112 Base plate dimensions: 2" x 2" (50.5 x 50.5 mm) Assembly weight: : 6.7 oz (190 g)     Danger Den Tieton GPU Block - GeForce GTX 280 Features: Compatible with reference design GTX280 & GTX260 cards (Palit, BFG, EVGA, XFX, PNY, etc). Most of our customers are asking us the same question over and over again: 32 or 64 bit? And the answer is always the same: Unless you have some real old legacy applications that absolutely require a legacy 32bit platform (like Windows XP 32bit), there is absolutely no reason not to order your new computer system with a 64bit version of Windows. To put it in very simple terms, a 64bit Operating System can manage more than 4GB of system memory. Architectural differences between 32bit and 64bit Windows A 32bit version of Windows can only make effective use of 4GB of system memory. From the 4GB of system memory, you need to subtract the amount of graphics memory and any other devices that have any kind of memory on board (Like an Auzentech X-Fi Prelude sound card which has 128MB Ram on board). So for example, if you have 2 X GeForce 9800GTX with 512MB each, installed in a SLI configuration, a X-Fi Prelude card, and 4GB of system memory, the amount of usable system memory will be 2.85GB. Of course, there are 32bit OS's like Windows Server 2003 32bit Edition, which can manage more than 4GB of RAM, or any 32bit Linux Distribution. Those operating systems use the PAE (Physical Address Extension) in the CPU, which allows them to manage up to 64GB of RAM. This is not available on any version of Windows on the desktop. How ever, despite the fact that PAE allows the use of more than 4GB of RAM, each application is limited to 2GB of memory, with the kernel of the OS being also limited to 2GB of memory. Windows 64bit can overcome these limitations. New games like Crysis can take advantage that way of more than 2GB of RAM. For instance if you play Crysis on a system with 8GB of RAM and Windows 64bit, the game will take advantage of almost all of the memory, minus of what's being used by the OS. How to choose Windows has never been our favorite OS, but at the same time Windows is the most used OS in the world, and that is why we have to offer it. To make your choice easier, we will help you choose the right OS for your needs. Windows XP MCE 2005 32bit: This version of Windows is the same as Windows XP Pro 32bit, but with the added benefit of the Media Center Software. You should choose this version of Windows only if you are running applications like 3DStudio Max, AutoCAD, Maya 3D, or if you have old applications like Adobe Photoshop 7, Dreamweaver MX and so on, and you need to ensure 100% compatibility for this applications. For gaming, there is absolutely no reason to choose this version of Windows over Vista, because it lacks features like DirectX 10, Viasta Aero, and many more. Windows Vista Home Premium 32/64bit: This is the version of Windows that we recommend to most users. Also, if you are looking at this and Ultimate, you should know that the only major difference between them is the ability of Vista Ultimate to encrypt hard drives, and some other minor features which most regular users will never take advantage of. The benefits are all there: support for more than 4GB of RAM (64bit), DirectX 10, Media Center software, the Aero interface, support for more than 3 video cards, and much more.     Included Stuff All manuals, cables, CDs & DVDs will be included with the system       The Included Stuff that comes with your new computer - Everything comes with it: Your computer is built entirely from retail components. All CDs and DVDs will also be included, which also includes the Windows CD or DVD. - Awesome out of the box: We install a small collection of useful software like Mozilla Firefox & Thunderbird, Opera and Safari 3 web browsers, AVG (a lightweight but powerful anti-virus), Sun StarOffice 8, Picasa 2, DivX (and many other codecs), iTunes with Quick Time and much more.           :: Gallery   This are some of the systems that we have built in the past for our customers.           :: Product warranty   Warranty 1 Year Parts and Labor Warranty starting with the day you receive your new computer system       Toratek Custom Computers warranty policy: 1. The Toratek Custom Computers warranty is one of the most comprehensive in the industry. The Toratek warranty covers all our custom computer systems against defects in materials and workmanship and for one-year parts and labor starting with the day that your computer system is delivered to you. All claims for warranty service must be made during the term of the warranty. 1.1 Warranty length: Your warranty begins on the day that your new computer system is delivered to you, and lasts for 1 year (12 months). After your warranty expires, it is important to note that many of our components will still carry a manufacturer warranty (e.g. most hard drives have a 3 year warranty, and memory has a lifetime warranty!). Once your warranty expires with Toratek Custom Computers, you must deal directly with the manufacturer of a certain component to obtain warranty service for that component. 1.2 Labor warranty: Every Toratek computer system includes one-year labor warranty. This includes labor costs for upgrades purchased trough Toratek, should you wish to make upgrades to your computer. We do not upgrade motherboards or computer cases. See the "Limitation of Liability" section below for exceptions to this coverage. 1.3 Parts warranty: By default, every Toratek computer system includes one year of parts warranty. If a component fails or is found to be defective and is reported during this term, Toratek will repair or replace the defective part(s) with new or reconditioned part(s) at our option. If a certain part is not being manufactured anymore and we can't get that part to replace a defective part, then we will replace the defective part with a part of similar performance and specification. 2. Return for repair: Computer systems are generally repaired within 3 to 5 business days after we receive delivery. If any replacement parts needed are not in stock, then that will add to the total time needed to complete the repair. How ever, if one or more components have failed that are user serviceable (e.g. video card, sound card, ram memory), and the user knows how to replace the specific component, and wants to do so, then it is not necessary to send back entire unit for repair, but only the defective component(s). 2.1 Shipping back for repair: 2.1.1 When to ship components back to us for repair or replacement: You can ship components back to us for repair or replacement only if you have the necessary knowledge and skill to remove them from the computer system. Any damage resulting from the improper installation of such components will not be covered by the warranty. This components may include, but are not limited to: video cards, sound cards, RAM memory, optical drives, hard drives, modular power supplies and so on. We provide this service in an effort to shorten the repair time and to provide you, the customer, with a greater amount of uptime and optimal operation of your computer system. You are not obligated under any circumstances to perform any repairs to your own computer system. 2.1.2 How to ship components back to us: First of all, it is very important to use good packaging for any component that you ship back to us for replacement or repair. It is required that you use a static back for any component that you ship back to us. Also, it is recommended that you use plastic peanuts, foam or bubble wrap to better package the component that you are shipping back to us. You may use any carrier to ship the component back to us. We recommend that you purchase shipping insurance for the component (if you need to know the value of a certain component for insurance reasons please ask us) and also have a tracking number so that you can follow the package that you are sending back to us. You are responsible for the cost of shipping when you ship a component to us for repair or replacement. 2.1.3 When to ship the computer system back to us: You will need to ship the computer back to us for repair when you encounter a problem that you can't fix with our help over the phone or via email. This usually involves a hardware problem, like a defective motherboard or power supply. We are using only high quality components, so this kinds of problems are very rare. Anytime you need to send the computer back to us for repair during the 1-year warranty period, please talk to us first via phone or email, before sending it out. 2.1.4 How to ship the computer system back to us for repair: It is very important that you ship the computer back to us in the original packaging, because it will provide proper protection for the unit. How ever, if for some reason you don't have the original packaging anymore, then please use similar packaging. Always wrap the computer system in a plastic bag in a similar manner as when you've received the computer system. Double boxing is recommended, but not required. Use plenty of plastic peanuts and scotch tape to package the computer system. Regardless of which shipping carrier you are using, please make sure that you place "Fragile" stickers on the outside of the box, and please use plenty of them. For example FedEx will only take into consideration their own "Fragile" stickers when they carry around a box. Don't use a pen or sharpie to write "fragile" on the box, because FedEx will throw it around just like any other package. The same applies for UPS. Also, please use the carrier's stickers marked as "This side up" to indicate the top side of the box. We don't recommend using USPS for shipping a computer system, because they are inexperienced when it comes to large packages, and expensive. Also, please purchase shipping insurance for the computer system for the entire value. Shipping insurance is inexpensive, and in case that the shipping carrier that you are using damages the package, they will reimburse you for the value of the computer system. Our warranty does not cover any damages that where caused during shipping or by the customer, or due to improper packaging. The most cost effective way to ship the computer system back to us is via FedEx Ground. You can go to www.fedex.com and open a FedEx shipping account, and receive an up to 10% discount for shipping. You, the customer, are solely responsible for all the shipping costs associated with the repair of your computer system. This means that you will have to pay to ship the computer to us, and then for us to ship it back to you. However, because most problems develop in the first couple of days, we have a 30-day shipping guarantee, where we cover all the shipping costs associated with the repair of your computer system for the first 30 days. 3. Warranty coverage: 3.1 What is covered: The entire computer system is covered by our 1-year parts and labor warranty, except for wear and tear items. Wear and tare items are considered to be air cooling fans and liquid cooling components. 3.1.2 Air-cooling fans: Cooling fans are covered only for 90 days. They almost never fail, but because there are users amongst our customers that keep their system in extremely dusty environments and by doing this they wear them out faster, we decided to warranty our fans only for 90 days. 3.1.3 Liquid cooling components: All our liquid cooling components are warranted only for 90 days. Components like pumps, radiators and blocks are considered to be wear and tear items. We use only quality components for our liquid cooling systems, but because we do not have any control over what the user does with the liquid cooling system, and how he or she maintains it, we warranty it only for 90 days. 3.2 What is not covered: 3.2.1 Peripherals: Warranty service for all peripherals (monitors, speakers, external equipment) is provided only by the manufacturer of the component. 3.2.2 Non-reusable liquid cooling system components: Should we need to disassemble your liquid cooling system for repair, items such as coolant, tubing and hose clamps are not covered by the warranty, and you will be invoiced for them separately. How ever, these items are inexpensive. 3.2.3 Components that where damaged during shipping: If you send your computer system back to us for repair, and the unit is damaged during shipping, any damage resulting from shipping will not be covered by our warranty. Such damage has to be covered by shipping insurance. 3.2.4 Psychical damage: Any psychical damage that happens during shipping should be covered under shipping insurance, not by our warranty. This also includes the first time when we ship the computer system to you. We always purchase shipping insurance for the computer system that we ship to you. Please see the section "Shipping claims" for more information on how to handle shipping claims. 4. Shipping claims: 4.1 How to handle claims: The sender is always the one who has to file a shipping claim with the carrier. How ever, the receiver has to provide the sender with proper information like pictures of the damaged unit and packaging, and a short but accurate description of the damage. Should you receive a damaged computer system from us, please DO NOT throw away any of the packaging. In case that you are the one who has to file a claim, we will assist you in any way we possibly can. 4.2 How long does it take to resolve a claim: To resolve a claim it takes between 5 to 7 business days. With high value items like computer systems, both FedEx and UPS will send out an inspector to inspect the damage and the packaging. We package the computer systems correctly and mark them as fragile, so our systems always get safe to their intended destination. In one year we had only one computer system that got damaged on the way to its intended destination, and the issue was resolved trough the claim process. 4.3 What to do if you receive a damaged computer: It is very important that you contact us immediately in case that you received a damaged package. We edit our listings by hand using HTML, CSS and JavaScript code, and validate our code to comply with the eBay standards. This way our listings look the same in every web browser and on any platform, including the iPhone and iPod touch. Consistency It is very important for us to be consistent in everything that we do. We like to be consistent when it comes to the design of our listings, web site (we are still working on our web site, so it might not be up and running yet), computer systems, customer support and future products. We are here for the long haul, and we have only one goal in mind: to continually improve our products, our services and ourselves. Diversity, customization and choice We call ourselves "Toratek Custom Computers" because we build fully customized computer systems. Today's gaming systems are the equivalent of muscle cars in the 70's. They are big, get hot and require tons of electricity to run. That's not to say that they are bad, but you shouldn't buy a gaming PC unless you are a gamer or need one. You may as well order an affordable stylish computer system that fits in perfectly with your lifestyle as far as performance and aesthetics go. That is why we don't limit ourselves to building only gaming systems, but we also like to build media center PCs, small form factor PCs, desktop PCs, workstations and servers. Neither do we limit the choice of operating systems only to Windows XP or Vista, but we like to also offer Linux and FreeBSD. Well balanced systems When we work on a configuration for a customer, we take into consideration his budget, his performance needs and aesthetics of the computer system. That is why we don't like to improve only on a single area of the computer system, like only on the CPU or only on the Vide Card(s), but we like everything to be high quality and perform well. It is very important that while a computer system has to perform and be reliable 24/7, at the same time it also has to have a very pleasant appearance. Affordable Ultimately, price is the deciding factor when it comes to a making purchase. We know that, and that is why we pack as much value as possible in every box that we ship. We are not competing we other sellers here on eBay, because no one offers anything that is even close to our level of quality and customization. How ever, we offer, and even surpass the quality of systems from Dell (XPS), Alienware, FalconNW, and many other builders. None of these companies offers the level of choice and customization that we do. And we do all this for far less money than they do. Thankful to our customers Ultimately, we exist because of our customers. For those of you that have purchased a computer system from us in the past, thank you! And for those of you who haven't yet, we hope that we can convince you to give us your business.
